  My hubby & I went to Destin the 1st week of Oct 2022 for our 27th Wedding Anniversary. We both love boat rides, & seeing dolphins is an added bonus.... read more We knew about Destin's Original Sea Blaster & decided to give it a go. We are soooo glad we did because we had the BEST time!!! We got to see quite a few dolphins. The captain even got them to play with us & they were jumping behind the boat in the wake. Absolutely amazing to see!!! We were out on the boat for 2 hours, cruising around the harbor & in the gulf. We even got to go fast & feel the wind on our face & in our hair. Due to how breezy it is, it can be chilly, so if you get cold easily you may want to take a light jacket. We also wore hats to protect us from the sun. My hat had a string that helped keep it on, which was very helpful as it would have blown right off otherwise. They give out free soda, beer & wine on the cruise which is very nice. There is also a restroom on board, just in case! If you have children, they will let them take a turn steering the boat. You are even allowed to get up & move around on the boat which was great! This is one of the best dolphin cruises we've been on & we will definitely do it again next time we're in Destin!!!

  We have taken our family beach vacations to the Destin area for more than 5 years and the SeaBlaster is always a must for us! We actually took two... read more cruises this past week and the the crew on each boat were very pleasant and ensured we had a great experience. Our only disappointed occurred during the second cruise of the week. We had requested to ride the second boat when we made our reservation for two reasons. We wanted to experience a different crew and it was the boat we took my mom on last year. Unfortunately mom contracted COVID in December and passed away this past March. Unfortunately, when we checked in, they had placed us on the "other" boat. The lady that checked us in was busy texting on her phone and it was obvious we were an inconvenience to her conversation. When we explained the situation to her, she developed an attitude and told us the boats are exactly the same and it should not matter to us which one we rode. To us, it mattered and insisted she make the change, which took less than 10 seconds to complete, but without visibly sharing her frustration we took an extra few seconds out of her day before she got back to texting on her phone. I share this in hopes that the young lady that checked us in reads this and chooses a better approach when interacting with her customers. She has a chance to make a positive first impression and be an extension of the great service we all receive from the crew on the SeaBlaster. Unfortunately, in our instance, she failed miserably. Outside of this one instance, our experience has always been very positive and highly recommend the SeaBlaster.

We were so excited to have dolphins playing and swimming in our boats wake and even saw a manatee, a sighting even the captain couldn't believe! This was a memory my grandkids will never forget. The highlight for the kids, even the teenagers, was being able to drive the boat and sound the horn. Thank you to the captin and crew of the Sea Blaster for a once in lifetime vacation.
